Angela Fusté is the Sr. Administrative Officer of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She started her career at the university in 1999 in the Department of Pediatrics as Division Administrator for the Division of Community Pediatrics. Angela has held numerous positions in the Departments of Pediatrics and OBGYN throughout her years at the university. She has been an active AAAP member since 2014. Angela hosted the 2019 AAAP Fall Meeting in Miami, FL and was the 2021 AAAP Program Director. Angela received her bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of Miami and her master’s in healthcare administration from Florida International University. She has over 25+ years of healthcare experience. In her spare time, she enjoys event planning and traveling with her husband, Octavio, and two children.
